Agency Medical Director

The Illinois Department of Corrections is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Agency Medical Director to lead and oversee the delivery of comprehensive medical care across 32 correctional centers, work camps, and transition centers.

Requirements

• Illinois license to practice medicine in the State of Illinois
• completion of an approved residency in the position-related medical specialty of psychiatry, rehabilitation, medicine, or other specialty clinically appropriate to the psychiatric or habilitation setting
• Four (4) years of substantive medical administrative experience in medical/clinical or medical programs direction, planning, and evaluation
