MEDICAL DIRECTOR

The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is seeking a Medical Director with an Illinois Physical and Surgeon License and specialty in Psychiatry to provide medical leadership and oversight of psychiatry services at the Elizabeth Packard Mental Health Center in Springfield, Illinois.

Requirements

• Valid State of Illinois Physician and Surgeon License
• American Board Certification in psychiatry
• Three (3) years of substantive medical administrative experience
• Two (2) years of professional experience working with professional health services
• Two (2) years of professional experience managing and evaluating medical care
• Two (2) years of professional experience supervising medical staff
• Two (2) years of professional experience recommending changes to medical service programs
• Two (2) years of professional experience providing technical medical training
• Two (2) years of professional experience communicating with stakeholders
• Two (2) years of professional experience performing quality assurance assessments
