DIRECT CARE TRAINEE

This recruitment is for multiple positions within the Maryland Department of Health. The successful candidate will assist in the care, treatment, habilitation or rehabilitation of mentally or physically ill patients, aged or developmentally disabled clients.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate
• None
• Current certificate as a Nursing Assistant from the Maryland State Board of Nursing
• Geriatric Aide certificate (for employees in long term care facilities)
• Motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification
