Job Description
As an Investigative Interviewer/Translator (Spanish) for the Maryland Department of Labor, you will provide oral and written translation services in a variety of settings, including field inspections, investigations, and meetings, to enhance labor law compliance in the state. You will also assist in research projects and provide guidance and translation for paying fines or fees and disseminating collected wages.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate
- Two years of experience performing administrative staff, clerical, clerical technical, or secretarial work
- Excellent level of fluency in written and oral English and Spanish
- Report writing and investigative background experience
