Job Description
The Maryland Department of Health is seeking a Project Manager to manage projects on behalf of the department. The successful candidate will have experience in project management, procurement, and construction administration, as well as knowledge of DGS Procurement Process and DGS Professional Services Procedures. They will be responsible for developing, coordinating, directing, and managing professional planning activities, managing procurements, and directing the work of consultants and vendors.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate
- Six years of administrative staff or professional work
- Demonstrated project management experience, including managing multiple competing demands
- Knowledge of and/or experience with DGS Procurement Process and DGS Professional Services Procedures
- Knowledge of and/or experience with construction administration
- Experience managing consultants
- Experience with real property processes
- Valid motor vehicle operator's license in the State of Maryland
