Security and Public Safety Officer

The Security and Public Safety Officer ensures provider compliance with the DSS and CSA Contracts and Scopes of Work by tracking incident reports, invoices, and other administrative materials referenced in the contract. The Administrative Officer also frequently engages with security vendors throughout the State and conducts random site visits to all DHS facilities that employ contracted security services.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
• Three years of administrative staff or professional work.
• Six months of experience in supporting administrative, operational, or programmatic functions within security, public safety, emergency operations, or facility management environments.
• Six months of experience in security management, public safety, emergency operations, law enforcement coordination, or facility risk oversight.
• Six months of experience in developing or implementing security procedures, incident reporting protocols, or emergency response plans.
