Job Description
MTHS has an opening for a full-time Accountant 2. This position works as a member of the accounting team and is responsible for accounting functions across the agency’s multiple funding types, will oversee major accounting and reporting functions and will analyze accounting data to assess and improve the agency’s financial operations.
Requirements
- Knowledge of accounting theory, principles, and practices
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products
- Knowledge of Governmental Accounting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Effective time management and organizing skills
- Outstanding Excel skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to accurately perform accounting tasks
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a 5-person accounting team
