Job Description
The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services has a career opportunity within the Child and Family Services Division as a Central Intake Specialist. This position involves gathering information from callers to determine whether statutory criteria for investigation are present and ensuring the safety of children. The position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving and decision-making skills, and the ability to handle sensitive and stressful situations. A bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related human services field is required, as well as one year of human services experience working with children and families.
