Job Description
The Montana Department of Corrections is seeking a Correctional Officer to work at the Pine Hills Correctional Facility in Miles City, MT. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall safety and security of inmates, staff, and visitors, and will play a key role in creating a safer Montana through accountability, rehabilitation, and empowerment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver's License
- POST Basic Certification after attending training at the Montana Law Enforcement Academy and successfully completing one year of employment with the Department of Corrections
- US citizen
- 18 years of age or older
- Good moral character
- No felony or domestic violence conviction
- No conviction for which could have led to imprisonment in a federal or state penitentiary
