Job Description
The Groundskeeper position is a seasonal position that is primarily responsible for Janitorial and groundskeeping duties at Tongue River Reservoir and Rosebud Battlefield State Parks. The position is part of the Parks and Outdoor Recreation Division and reports to the Maintenance Team Supervisor. The Groundskeeper will perform a wide variety of routine maintenance and groundskeeping duties, including cleaning and sanitizing facilities, inspecting sites for hazards, and collecting trash. The position is available from May to September and is a less than 6-month seasonal position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Ability to perform manual labor and work in outdoor conditions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow established procedures and protocols
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to the public
