Livestock Market Inspector- Part-Time- Glendive

This position is a part-time Market Inspector that will work at the Glendive Livestock Exchange in Glendive, MT. The job involves inspecting livestock, collecting paperwork, and issuing inspections and permits. The ideal candidate is experienced in quiet, safe, and efficient cattle-handling, and is able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Requirements

• Experienced in quiet, safe, and efficient cattle-handling on foot and in close proximity to cattle
• Able to spend most of the day standing and walking, outside, whatever the weather
• Committed to maintaining a high standard of performance
• Patient, clear and tactful when explaining regulations to the public
• Able to operate a personal computer and other handheld electronic devices
• Able to operate a motor vehicle
