Registered Nurse Per Diem (PRN)

Registered Nurse Per Diem (PRN) at Montana State Hospital provides care and support to clients within a therapeutic environment. Provides nursing assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluations for adult clients with serious mental illness. Assigns work and provides direction and training to subordinate nursing personnel.

Requirements

• Knowledge of nursing, medications, treatment planning and patient’s rights regarding medical treatment.
• Ability to provide patient assessment and appropriate documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Unencumbered Associate or Bachelor degree from an accredited nursing college or university.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Montana.
