The Accounting Technician III is the specialist level of this job family where employees are assigned responsibility for performing advanced technical accounting work, including maintaining accounting records, reviewing and reconciling financial transactions, and preparing financial reports.
Requirements
- Maintains accounting records including ledgers, journals, registers, and individual accounts
- Reviews and reconciles various financial transactions
- Prepares financial reports, statements and schedules of standard design
- Maintains files of source documents and other information related to accounting activities
