The Sooner Job Challenge program is a 24-hour per day, 7-day per week operation that provides a highly complex operation for up to 60 sixteen- to twenty-one-year-old "At-Risk" youth.
Job Description
The Job Placement Counselor position at the Sooner Job Challenge program is responsible for tracking student associates and graduates during the residential and post-residential phases, providing career counseling, and facilitating opportunities for students to use their vocational skills in community service projects.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Strong background working with at-risk youth
- Good administrative, computer, communication, and customer service skills
