Job Description
The position of Law Enforcement Criminal Intelligence Analyst provides analytic support to criminal investigations, homeland security, and intelligence operations. The analyst will collect, collate, evaluate, report, and provide courtroom testimony to support decision-makers in mitigating imminent or long-term threats to the public.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, criminology, crime and intelligence analysis, sociology, or a closely-related field of study
- 2-4 years of professional experience in conducting investigative case support or criminal intelligence analysis for a law enforcement agency
- Ability to collect and analyze data, recognize existing trends and emerging threats, and present findings clearly and concisely
- Knowledge of procedures and techniques of business communication, computer programs and applications, and specific analytical tools and software
