Job Description
Join the Oregon Department of Forestry as a Wildland Fire Suppression Specialist to protect and promote resilient forests in Oregon. The role requires 2 seasons of Wildland firefighting experience and involves completing wildland firefighting activities, constructing fire lines, and operating fire equipment.
Requirements
- Two (2) seasons of Wildland firefighting experience
- Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license
- Ability to perform in high stress, fast paced emergency situations
