Job Description
The Financial Reporting - Assistant Manager will provide end-to-end support to investment company clients for timely completion of financial statements within stringent deadlines for audit/client review. The role requires preparation and review of financial statements, risk management, and coordination with multiple departments.
Requirements
- Prepare and perform 1st level reviews on private equity and hedge fund financial statements
- Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff
- Responsible for risk management and staff understanding of Standard Operating procedures
- Estimate personnel needs, assign work, and oversee short-term deliverables
- Ensure team accuracy and meet deadlines
- Implement standard practices, processes, and tools
- Participate in research and resolution of client issues
- Volunteer for ad-hoc projects and assist with last-minute requests
