Head of Front Office Credit Risk, Managing Director (Onsite)

State Street Markets is seeking a Managing Director to lead Front Office Credit Risk management across business units, with a focus on credit analysis, product knowledge, and leadership. The role requires collaboration with trading desks, SSM Management, and external parties to manage risk and ensure regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has a Master's degree, 10-15 years of experience in counterparty credit risk, and strong risk management and communication skills.

Requirements

• Master's Degree or equivalent in an economics or business related field
• 10-15 years experience in counterparty credit risk
• Deep product knowledge in securities lending, prime brokerage, and OTC derivatives including FX
• Professional designation (CFA, FRM) preferred
• Strong risk management and control focus
• A demonstrated ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts between various stakeholders with competing interests
