Job Description
State Street is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to contribute to the quality engineering of its wealth platforms. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks, partner with developers and product teams, and act as a quality advocate throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software quality engineering, SDET, or test automation roles
- Strong experience working as a hands-on individual contributor embedded within engineering teams
- Proven ability to design and implement automated testing solutions for complex systems
- Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments where quality and control are critical
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence quality outcomes without formal authority
