R&D Designer

Role Overview

We are seeking an R&D Designer to join our team in Vaughan, ON, Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, designing, and developing new products and systems using 2D & 3D software. They will also be responsible for procuring, following up, and quality checking samples prior to production.

What You Will Do

The R&D Designer will conduct research, design, and develop new products and systems, utilize 3D printers to print components, and engage in all steps from concept design to installation of products. They will also prepare drawings packages, conduct meetings, and create machine drawings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architectural Technology, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
• Minimum 3+ years of Drafting or R&D Designing experience in Window/Railing/Commercial Systems
• Manufacturing experience is an asset
