Grocery General Merchandise Clerk

The General Merchandise Clerk is responsible for delivering G.O.A.T. service to customers, supporting multiple areas of store operations, and delivering outstanding customer service. This role involves front-end responsibilities, stocking shelves, organizing displays, and assisting with e-commerce and produce preparation.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma is preferred but not required
• A valid Food Handler / Health Card
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Friendly, helpful attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction and service at all time
• Ability to work well within the team and follow direction with a good attitude
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and teammates
• Basic math and reading skills for handling pricing, labels, equipment, and inventory
• Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
