Job Description
SteadyRain, a digital agency, is seeking an experienced PHP Solutions Architect to join their Development team. The role involves establishing an IT Architecture practice, developing coding best practices, and working with customers to deliver exceptional solutions. The company values employee ownership and a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years writing PHP
- Minimum five (5) years working in WordPress
- Experience with at least one PHP framework like Symphony, Laravel, CodeIgniter or understanding of PHP-open source projects
- Experience leading IT Architecture decisions
- Knowledge of common third-party APIs
- Knowledge and experience with W3 Standards and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with source control such as Git or Mercurial
- Experience in guiding and mentoring junior developers
- Flexibility in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Great communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working on PC platform
- Detail oriented and focus on quality assurance
- Online portfolio or personal website with samples of relevant work
