Senior Claims Associate

Senior Claims Associate position at Steamship Mutual, a P&I insurance company, to provide claims handling service and advice to Members based in the Indian subcontinent and Middle East.

Requirements

• Previous experience handling shipping litigation and dispute resolution
• Qualified lawyer practise in England & Wales with 4–6 years' PQE
• Excellent communication skills, including negotiating, presenting, and reporting
• Ability to build and maintain effective business relationships
• Highly organised, motivated, and enthusiastic with an excellent attention to detail
• Ability to deliver high quality work within agreed timeframes
• Proactive and able to use own initiative
• The ability to work well within a team
