Requirements
- Review structural contract drawings and specifications for non-residential building projects.
- Interpret the loading diagrams and apply those load requirements to the steel joists and girders.
- Analyze connections of steel joists and girders to the supporting members and identify special connections that may be required.
- Create Joist/Girder/Deck placement plans, sections, and details to reflect New Millennium’s interpretation of the contract drawings.
- Create Bills of Material for all joists, girders and deck that import into our design program.
- Coordinate with customers, erectors, GC’s and Architect/Engineer of Record to ensure that our products are designed, fabricated, and delivered with the highest quality and on schedule.
