Civil Engineering Internship

Steel Dynamics is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to support ongoing design, analysis, and construction projects. This is a hands-on internship offering direct experience in civil engineering from design to field work. Interns will work alongside contractors, engineers, and operators, gaining valuable skills and contributing to real-world projects within a manufacturing setting. The position is located at the New Millennium facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Requirements

• Apply engineering principles to support ongoing design, analysis, and construction projects.
• Assist in evaluating and designing structural components.
• Conduct inspections of existing infrastructure.
• Utilize laboratory and engineering tools (AutoCAD, BIM software).
