Job Description
OmniSource is seeking a skilled Transport Mechanic to maintain the safety and reliability of our fleet and equipment. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a strong willingness to learn new skills and contribute positively to the team’s success.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in transport mechanics or a related field.
- General knowledge of DOT truck maintenance requirements.
- Clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more consistently.
- Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong welding and fabrication skills.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.
- A dedicated team player who contributes to the overall success of the organization.
