Operations Engineer

Steel Reef is a Canadian company that gathers and redistributes potentially wasted gas to deliver the energy that powers our lives. The Operations Engineer position will be responsible for supporting the safe and reliable operation of Steel Reef's gas gathering facilities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to oversee and deliver engineering support for a large area of the operation.

Requirements

• An Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma
• Must be a registered professional engineer or technologist with a provincial association
• 10 years relevant engineering experience
• Experience in oil and gas field operations with knowledge of compression, dehydration and pipelines
• Knowledge of pipeline hydraulic & facility process modeling
• Ability to coordinate and oversee the execution of field projects
• Eagerness to travel regularly to operating sites
• Hold a valid driver's license
• Team player with the ability to grow within a young company
• Comfortable giving presentations and facilitating meetings
• Ability to travel to the USA for business meetings
