Job Description
Responsible for maintaining the quality of shop fabrication materials, ensuring codes and project specifications are followed, and providing coaching and training to enhance quality awareness and improvement.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- 3 plus years of experience in working as a structural steel fitter in the building industry
- Previous inspection experience in a related environment
- Good working knowledge of shop fabrication drawing interpretation, basic weld symbol interpretation, visual weld inspection acceptability, and basic working knowledge of the applicable codes required to fabricate and accept the final product
- Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook (email)
