Scale Operator - 2nd Shift

As a Scale Operator at Steel Technologies, you will be responsible for accurately tagging finished goods and preparing them for shipment. You will ensure finished goods are appropriately packaged, weighed, measured, and recorded. You will also help prepare items for shipment to our customers and ensure their expectations are met.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of industrial or manufacturing experience
• Ability to follow all order instructions and complete documentation
• Proficiency in basic computer skills
• Ability to use tape measures, micrometers, and calipers
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
