
Job description
The Calibration Engineer is responsible for generating optimal base engine calibrations meeting all program objectives in terms of performance, control stability, and emissions levels. The role involves setup and control of engine sensors and actuators, conducting engine hardware and systems testing, and supporting other teams with test requests.
The Calibration Engineer will plan and coordinate day-to-day activities, develop test plans and timelines, generate reports, and analyze complex system problems related to engine performance, fuel consumption, and emissions.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of internal combustion engines, engine control strategies, and complex optimization strategies, as well as excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
