Systems Technical Lead

Role Overview

The Systems Technical Lead will oversee new feature development, coordinate cross-functional teams, and achieve launch metrics. This role requires collaboration with colleagues from various departments, maintaining a focus on developing and delivering new features to meet corporate milestones.

What You Will Do

Ensure common processes, act as technical expert, support vehicle issue resolution, capture lessons learned, own initiatives to address safety, quality, or warranty concerns, support platform and program new feature development, and conduct competitive benchmarking and voice of customer clinics.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems Engineering or an equivalent from an ABET accredited university
• Minimum of 5 years of automotive experience
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written and ability to communicate technical content to a non-technical audience
• Good project coordination skills
• Flexibility - must be able to adapt to changing environment with minimal effect on productivity
• Strong Automotive Systems Background
• Strong Background in Engineering Product Development
• Knowledge of ISO 26262
• Understanding of FMEA, FTA, HARA
• Ability to interpret various regulatory requirements and Industry Best practices
• Knowledge of INCOSE requirements decomposition
• Functional knowledge of DVP&R and validation planning
