The Universal Banker I is responsible for answering customers' questions, explaining available Bank services, and cross-selling Bank products and services. The position involves opening accounts, controlling access, and assisting customers with various banking tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2-3 years or more of related experience in a financial institution with customer service and opening of new accounts and teller functions
- Basic knowledge of state and federal banking compliance regulations and other Bank operational policies
- Basic skills in computer operations and Microsoft Office products and intermediate typing skills
- Basic math skills such as the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, locate routine mathematical errors, and count currency, coin, and negotiable instruments in a timely manner
