Requirements

• Mental Health Professional: Experience in the delivery of clinical services to recipients with mental illness, knowledge of human behavior and performance, individual differences in ability, personality, and interests, learning and motivation, psychological research methods, and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with families from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, able to work independently within established guidelines and with limited supervision and assistance.
• Clinical Trainee: Is enrolled in an accredited graduate program of study to prepare the staff person for independent licensure as a mental health professional and who is participating in a practicum or internship with the license holder through the individual's graduate program.
• Mental Health Practitioner: Knowledge of human behavior and performance, individual differences in ability, personality, and interests, learning and motivation, psychological research methods, and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders, demonstrated ability to interact with families from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, able to work independently within established guidelines and with limited supervision and assistance.
