Sr. Infrastructure Project Manager - Part Time

Requirements

• Manage project development from execution to closure
• Develop and prepare detailed planning documents in accordance with the Commonwealth's Project Management Standard
• Point of contact for all day-to-day project operations
• Complete work breakdown structure to estimate effort required for each task
• Provide a project schedule to identify when each task will be performed and master schedule to link subprojects
• Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders
• Conduct project team meetings
• Micro-manage tasks of project team and vendors
• Consolidate project team status reports for executive stakeholders
• Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout project life cycle
• Effectively manage project scope, schedule and budget by ensuring changes to scope are documented and approved through the change management process
• Track and report on project milestones and provide internal status reports in addition to Commonwealth of Virginia status report as identified in the planning process
• Coordinate Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) reviews for project performance
• Determine how results will be measured and complete a post project evaluation to determine how well results were achieved
• Conduct monthly Internal Agency Oversight Committee (IAOC) meetings
• Maintain/update risk register
• Work with project sponsor and stakeholders to complete the project closeout report
• Document lessons learned
