Senior Quality Assurance Manager

Stepan is seeking a QA Manager to join our Quality team in Pasadena, TX. The role will drive quality assurance and quality control philosophies throughout the plant organization and integrate key practices into the manufacturing plant foundation.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in manufacturing in chemical industry (surfactants and personal care product manufacturing preferred)
• 5+ years of supervisory experience
• Knowledge and experience with implementation, maintenance, and audit of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 or similar)
• Experience leading teams and working with customers
• Experience in troubleshooting difficult problems in a plant environment
• Excellent project management and organization skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, and to manage cross-functional teams
• SQC, SPC, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement
