Founded in 1962, Stephen Gaynor School is an independent Pre‑K through Middle School that specializes in education for bright children with language‑based learning differences, including dyslexia, expressive and receptive language challenges, ADHD, and executive function difficulties. Assistant Teacher
Bachelor’s degree required, experience working with children with learning differences preferred
Art Specialist
Bachelors degree, art experience, and experience working with children with learning differences preferred
History Head Teacher (Middle School)
2-3 years of experience as a Head Teacher, Master's degree in Learning Disabilities and/or Special Education, and strong communication and organizational skills
Maintenance Technician
Minimum 5+ years of maintenance experience; Boiler License and HVAC certifications preferred
Speech and Language Pathologist (Leave Cover)
Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology, Registered and Licensed by the State of New York, Minimum of two years of experience within a school setting with elementary or middle school-age students
