Plant Operator

Stericycle is a U.S. based business-to-business services company seeking a Plant Operator to assist in the day-to-day operation of the plant for the receipt, treatment, and disposal of clinical waste, ensuring maximum plant availability and productivity in accordance with company operational procedures and legislative obligations.

Requirements

• Unloading of vehicles and trailers
• Effective manoeuvring of waste on the plant and weighing of containers
• Emptying, cleaning, and storing waste containers
• Coordinating paperwork and reception of deliveries
• Safe handling of loose waste
• Operating a fork lift truck
• Participating in plant shutdowns
• Maintaining company operational records
• Observing and complying with safety procedures
