The Electrical Engineer II will design, develop, and implement automated test systems to support new product development and production. This role plays a key part in maintaining high standards for electrical testing throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Design and implement automated test programs, fixtures, systems, and scripts for NPD and production environments.
- Qualify test stations using GRR, SPC, and other statistical analysis tools to ensure accuracy and repeatability.
- Define requirements and concepts for test systems, select and evaluate components, create schematics, verify designs, and maintain comprehensive tester documentation including test plans, reports, and work instructions.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to diagnose test failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize test processes to reduce cycle time, minimize false failures, and lower cost per test.
- Analyze test data, monitor trends, and provide actionable insights to design and quality teams for ongoing product and process improvements.
