Job Description
As a Tool Room Technician, your responsibilities will be to support Tool Room functions to meet production demands while maintaining safety, quality, and documentation requirements.
Requirements
- Read and comprehend instructions, prints and drawings
- Assemble dies, fixtures, and punches
- Run machines such as surface grinders, manual vertical mills, and engine lathes
- Maintain proper conduct to promote and provide a safe working environment.
- Take measurements with micrometers, calipers, and venires
- Aid Maintenance Dept. with PM’s as required
- Aid Molding Dept. with PM’s and Mold Tooling as required
- Help with design of molds and fixtures
- Troubleshoots and problem solves applicable equipment and fixtures
- Other duties as required by management
