Summer Camp Substitute Counselor - Chicago - Lincoln Park

Steve & Kate's is looking for team members who are motivated babysitters, teachers, coaches, students, athletes, and artists to work as substitute counselors at their summer camp in Chicago. The camp puts radical trust in kids, empowering them to make decisions and learn from their experiences. The job involves facilitating activities, making connections, and monitoring safety and wellness. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, able to lead groups of kids, and comfortable learning new things. The job requires a minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, first aid and CPR certification, and physical stamina to keep up with energetic kids.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp–age children, with 1 year preferred
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp
