Associate Teacher

We are seeking Associate Teachers for the 2026-27 school year for Prek 3 though 4th grades. Our Associate Teacher Program is committed to coaching, supporting, and inspiring new teachers in their journey to becoming a progressive practitioner.

Requirements

• Arrival by 8:15am
• Attend a selection of weekly faculty meetings, Back to School Night, and formal Parent-Teacher Conferences
• Attend start of year and closing faculty meetings
• Attend grade-related field trips
• Assist the head teacher in establishing productive parent/caregiver relationships
• Develop effective classroom management strategies
• Demonstrate reliability and professional communication
• Attend goal setting meetings with the building administrator, complete self-reflections regularly each year with evidence of development of skills in different areas of practice
