Job Description
A Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine facility maintenance to prevent possible mechanical failure. The person may be required to cut, weld, tap, mill and/or lathe metal parts to fix mechanical components.
Requirements
- Identify, clarify machine problems.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose problems.
- Fix problem using selected methods.
- Monitor and/or operate machine.
- Document and feedback information.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on delegated equipment.
- Use maintenance management software to help predict and prevent future breakdown.
