Job Description
The Stevenson School is seeking a Controller who will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and serve as a member of the School’s Leadership Council. The Controller will oversee Business Office functions, offering strategic and operational leadership over Stevenson School’s fiscal management and long-term financial health.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- MBA or CPA preferred
- 5 to 10+ years of progressive accounting experience within the not-for-profit sector
- GAAP accounting theory and ability to accurately read, interpret, and present complex financial statements
- Microsoft Office, Google Suite and Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT proficiency
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
