Spanish Language Instructor, Grades 9-12; Full-time

Stevenson School is a co-educational, college-preparatory, boarding and day school seeking a Spanish Language Teacher to start August 2026. The role includes teaching, advising, and co-curricular responsibilities, with a focus on fostering language acquisition and critical thinking skills.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in or related to target language, master's degree preferred
• A minimum of 3-years of previous teaching of world languages at a similar grade level
• Strong English language speaking and writing skills
• Experience with and a willingness to utilize T.P.R.S. and C.I. methods
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Ability to teach multiple grade levels on a daily basis
• Demonstrated confidence and aptitude with the use of instructional technology
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with all members of the community
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work
• Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality and the integrity of all aspects of information disseminated within or external to the school community
