Role Overview

As a senior member of the MEMS design team, the MEMS design expert leads and contributes to all phases of product development for innovative 3-axis accelerometers and 3-axis gyroscopes.

What You Will Do

Lead feasibility studies, design sensor layouts, conduct simulations, develop novel simulation models, plan and perform sensor validation and characterization, and contribute to new sensor research and development.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience as an inertial MEMS designer and holds a PhD in MEMS design or manufacturing, or at least seven years of experience as an inertial MEMS designer and holds a degree in mechanical engineering, physical engineering, or electronic engineering.

Requirements

• PhD in MEMS design or manufacturing
• At least five years of experience as an inertial MEMS designer
• Seven years of experience as an inertial MEMS designer and holds a degree in mechanical engineering, physical engineering, or electronic engineering
• Expertise in MEMS sensors, including design principles, simulation tools, and instruments used for sensor validation
• Basic knowledge of MEMS technology, inertial sensor architectures, and sensor calibration and characterization
• Proficiency with finite element method (FEM) simulations and MATLAB
• Accountability, attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, curiosity, and drive for innovation
