R&D MEMS Process Development Engineer

Role Overview

Join STMicroelectronics as a member of the R&D CVD, Diffusion, Epitaxy team to develop new processes and optimize existing ones for MEMS products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless process integration and compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

What You Will Do

Develop, implement, and optimize new processes for thin film deposition, analyze process data, troubleshoot issues, and prepare detailed documentation for manufacturing usage. Support scale-up activities and ensure compliance with sustainability roadmap.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in materials science, physics, chemistry, materials engineering or related fields
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced R&D environment
• Ability to analyze complex data and apply statistical process control (SPC)
• Good communication skills in English
• Basic understanding of semiconductor/MEMS fabrication processes
