Job Description
Stoke is a rapidly growing company building reusable launch vehicles to lower the cost of space travel. They are seeking a Senior Structures Design Engineer to provide technical leadership for the design of pressurized structures, primary structures, thrust structures, and load paths for their launch vehicles. This role involves hands-on hardware development, mentorship, and contribution to the company's mission to build a sustainable and equitable future.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in aerospace primary structures
- Designed, built, and tested structures
- Exceptional command of fundamentals
- Demonstrated proficiency with CAD software (NX preferred) and analysis software (ANSYS preferred)
- Ability to determine appropriate work level and execute the work accordingly
- Familiarity with launch vehicle design (cryogenic propellant familiarity preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Experience with technical mentoring of junior engineers
- Excellent written and verbal communication
