Ship Operator

As our Ship Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant and commercially efficient operation of the assigned ship, managing voyage planning, efficient cargo stowage, quality control practices, port rotation and bunker management.

Requirements

• Manage the ship's commercial trading utilization through efficient cargo stowage, quality control practice, and voyage planning and execution consistent with port/terminal/regulatory restrictions.
• Responsible for a commercially efficient operation of the ships assigned.
• Maintains customer contacts for ETA’s and PTA’s and other Operational information.
• Supports the ship and voyage to follow all international, local and other applicable regulations, industry practices and company procedures and guidelines.
• Accountable for the proper documentation for each voyage.
• Supports handling of voyage related incidents.
• Responsible for reviewing, approving or rejecting operational costs and credits against the voyage.
