Job Description
The Heart of the House team member prepares food items according to recipes, maintaining a clean and organized workspace. They follow all safety guidelines, handle food carefully, and support a positive team environment. This is a front-line role focused on food preparation with a hands-on approach.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and work well with others
- Ability to communicate clearly with managers, heart of the house, and front of the house personnel in English
- Proficiency in reading English or Spanish
- Ability to follow recipes, use scales, and measure
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 35 pounds
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Able to work in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment
- Can hear with 100% accuracy with correction
- Can see with 20/20 with correction
- Has or obtains California Food Handler certification before commencing work
