Technical Lead (m/f/d)

As a Technical Lead Engineer, you’ll actively drive the future of our software and data solutions in our Smart Data Area, combining technical excellence with leadership and shaping the technical direction. You’ll be responsible for ownership of the technical vision and architecture for complex software and data solutions, driving architectural decisions with a strong focus on scalability and long-term sustainability.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in software development (min. 5 years)
• At least 2 years in a technical leadership role
• Strong expertise in software architecture and data processing
• Experience with Perl, Python, Linux/Unix, databases (MariaDB, MSSQL), and frontend frameworks like Angular
• Familiarity with modern development tools and processes (Git, CI/CD, Azure DevOps) as well as cloud and container technologies (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS or Azure) are a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration mindset
• High level of ownership, structured working style, and result orientation
• Fluent in German and English
